Call for Abstracts

The South African Society of Rheology (SASOR) invites all rheologists, academics, students and industry involved in the field of rheology to learn and share your experiences and knowledge at the above conference. Download the Rheology Conference abstract template .

The following international and national plenary and invited speakers have confirmed their attendance:

Plenary speakers:

Prof Mohammad Naushad: Emmambux from University of Pretoria: "Rheology as an analytical tool for SMART food manufacturing in Africa"
Prof Abdellah Ajji: from Ecole Polytechnique of Montreal, Canada. "Correlation between Rheology and percolation in a nanocomposite and Rheology and relaxation in a Polymer blend"

Keynote speakers:

Dr Ozge Akbullut: from Sabanci University, Turkey: "A single additive does it all to make them flow"
Dr Reinhardt Kotze: from Cape Peninsula University of Technology, Cape Town: "Can complex fluids be rheologically characterised in-line for industrial process control"

There will be two sessions into which your abstract can be placed. This will be either a Technical Forum which covers rheological techniques and application or an Academic Forum which covers the science.
